The SE is built with Ezzy's exclusive Spectra X-Film and contains no monfilm. And yet, the SE is lighter than most monofilm wave sails. Spectra X-Film UV treated to last 3 times as long in the sun as conventional monofilm.

David Ezzy has spent extensive time scaling how the sails feel from big to small sizes. His goal is to make all the sizes feel like a 4.7 or 5.0. The 2007 sails are designed so that larger sails have a leech profile that makes them stiffer and the smaller sails have a leech profile that makes them softer.

The SE is designed for ALL sailing conditions, including onshore/offshore wave sailing and flat water freeride and freestyle.
