Channel Islands Too Happy
Created by Britt Merrick, through work with Dane Reynolds and Parker Coffin, the Two Happy takes all the high-performance speed and flow of the original Happy but makes it more accessible and user-friendly for a broader range of surfers and conditions. With added entry rocker and increased double concave, the Two Happy is looser, rolls rail to rail more easily, and carves better in the pocket. Our team describes the board as exceptionally fast, responsive, and under the feet. The fuller rails and wider, thicker tail block provide ease of paddle, ride, and acceleration.
To enjoy all of our state-of-the-art shortboard performance design characteristics packed into one easy-to-ride and accessible board, look no further than the Two Happy.
The Happy Everyday quickly became one of our favourite boards and we found ourselves wondering…“how can we ride this even more”? Thankfully, Britt and team went to work.
Keeping all the characteristics that make the HE a great stepdown performance board…in the Better Everyday, the trademark hip is relaxed, allowing the board to be smoother off the bottom and opens the range in slightly larger waves. Swallow tail gives more bite and hold while maintaining the loose feeling characterised with the board.
Increased flip out the tail on the Better Everyday loosens up the board out of the top of the lip creating a positive feeling out of the top while the decreased hip is a more positive feeling off the bottom.
The board comes stock with five fin boxes. Designed as a quad originally Britt also created a special quad set to perfectly compliment the boards characteristics. The fin set combines more upright front fins and raked back fins that give the board the zing and hold to go to the next level.
