FRAMES

Metal Frames: Odyssey2020 temples are Nichol base silver with anti corrosion coating to resist any irritation of the skin. The round polished metal frames with comfortable nosepieces feature metal top bars, bridge cut-out and polished metal logo engraving.

Acetate Frames: All acetate is produced by Mazzucchelli's in Italy and is of the finest quality available on the market. The temples are wire injected for a more comfortable fit. A brief overview of how our acetate frames are made is as follows:Acetate comes in a sheet of high quality, opaque colours. Our sunglasses are milled out of the acetate and then heated and bent into shape. A metal wire is then shot into the temple which enables the wearer to bend and fit to their needs. The sunglasses are tumbled and polished over 7 days. A final inspection and hand-polish is then undertaken to create the most crystal clear finish. Although this procedure is the oldest form of creating sunglasses it is by far the most artistic manner of eyewear design.

HINGES

All hinges are from Comotec which is the leading hinge designer of sunglasses in the world. Some hinges have lateral movement (they are able to move from side to side) which provides a far more comfortable fit.

LENSES

APX & LYX LENSES:The Odyssey 20/20 Hendrix Range use APX and LYX lenses which are far superior to the standard polycarbonate lenses found in other brands. APX & LYX lenses pass all high and low energy tests required by the ANSI Z87.1-1989 STANDARD for occupational eye and face protection.
